If you’re expecting a baby, you’ll already know how stretched the NHS maternity services are; but on your doorstep are two free pregnancy support groups every month.
Whether you’re having your first or subsequent baby, it’s important to find support from other mums, and birth experts.
You might have concerns about your pregnancy and birth, and want to talk to someone independent when you’re not getting enough time with your midwife.

Sophie Knight from Bourne Hypnobirthing (bournehypnobirthing.co.uk) runs two free pregnancy support groups, designed to connect expectant mums with a community, and to offer free support for every stage of your pregnancy and beyond.
These groups run every other Wednesday in Bourne, at Full of Beans cafe, and once a month in Stamford, at Mindspace. They’re totally free to attend, and are a casual way to meet other mums and share your experiences in a safe space. No topic of conversation is off the table, and you’re welcome to join us once baby arrives too.

Other birth and parenting experts join us regularly, including local midwives, doulas, yoga teachers, and the sling library.
